Only barely having got over one crazy weekend in Wales for Eradication Festival 2017, another even crazier weekend at Thrashersaurus Norwich leaves us completely lost for words. Great to see our old friends Onslaught official and Eradikator again, but due to stage timings still haven't been able to see DIVINE CHAOS who I've been hearing so much about for years now! Totally crushing performances from Solitary, Back down or die, Wretched Soul, Blackened Ritual, King Leviathan, Elimination, Khtonia, End Soteria, Rezinwolf, and KEMAKIL. Check all these bands out - they're all working hard and deserve a little look. Shame to have missed our old friends Anihilated, Killer Hurts and Detoxen the day before, but I will be making a point of checking out Shrapnel again(already seen you guys in London!), Forgotten Remains, Incinery, WarCrab, Scimitar, Codex Alimentarius, Lifer, Internal Conflict, Vendetta UKHC, SoulBorn and the other band whose logo I can't decipher(who are they, Errol?). Big props to Errol for putting the whole thing together and working so hard to keep British Thrash and extreme Metal alive! Cheers! \\m/ ... See more
Well, it's been all go these past few weeks and I haven't been able to stop to say how awesome Eradication Festival was! Sandwiched in the middle of a bunch of Norwegian and British Black Metal bands we were admittedly a little apprehensive how this might play out, but pleasantly surprised to see that Black Metallers are not as closed minded as some people would have you believe! Thrash and Black Metal share a lot of the same root, and all the bands on the bill that day deserve a good shout for making it a great day: Nonserviam, Wolfbastard, Reign of Erebus, Necronautical, Heathen Deity, The Infernal Sea, Ethereal and Nordjevel. Shame to have missed our friends Bull-Riff Stampede, KEMAKIL and OMV - Hardcore Street Metal, but would have loved to have seen all the other bands on the other 3 days - check them out: Blood Red Throne - Official, ANALEPSY, Department of Correction, Sworn Amongst, CREPITATION, Wretched Soul, Solothus, The Monolith Deathcult, Organ Dealer, Animator, Cockoroch, Forgotten Remains, Laceration, Sublime Eyes, Absolution, CHAINSAW CASTRATION, Live Burial, Anoxide [official], Blasphemer, Austerymn, and Gorehead. This was definitely a great weekend for Extreme Metal. Well done Gavin for putting it all together - may there be plenty more! \\m/ ... See more

Sin Eater was the first track written following Nightlord's reformation in 2010. Written by Jamie and Ferenc, and brought to life by renowned creative artist Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art, the story tells of an ancient ritual long since forgotten. The act of sin eating was used in times of need, when a person died before the priest could perform the last rites, thereby damning the deceased's soul to Hell. Very often a passing vagrant would be found to volunteer to perform the Sin Eating ritual in exchange for bed and board, thereby relieving the dead man's soul of sin, and allowing his soul free passage to the gates of Heaven. However, this story has a twist, as the Sin Eater in our story realises he has just made a big mistake... ... See more
